Engagement Process
Product Horizons expects a detailed requirements document from the client, and if not available, recommends entering into a requirements analysis exercise - the deliverable of which will be the requirements specification document. NOTE: Product Horizons will charge the client separately for any requirements analysis exercise if the client wishes to involve Product Horizons for the same.
After requirements are documented, the scope for the engagement is fixed. Based on the engagement model (see below) chosen by the client, Product Horizons prepares a proposal for the engagement, which states details like team composition, payment structure, project methodology, communication structure etc. After the client signs off by accepting the proposal and payment terms, the work commences.

Time And Material (T & M)
Product Horizons' team members are engaged on a per-hour rate for a specific time period. Based on the size of the team, project management effort may vary.
Fixed Price
The client provides Product Horizons with a detailed requirement specification document. Product Horizons does an effort estimation exercise and sends out a proposal document for the same to the client. The proposal document contains the delivery milestones and team composition for each milestone. Payments are associated with each milestone.
